SBERA began offering Defined Contribution 401(k) Plans in 1988 in response to requests from our members who wanted to provide this new type of retirement benefit plan to their employees. Over the past several years, there has been a well-documented shift from Defined Benefit Pension Plans to Defined Contribution 401(k) Plans, and currently the assets in the two plans at SBERA are of almost equal value. |
