It has been both a challenge and a pleasure to lead SBERA for the past fifteen years. The challenge comes from being involved in the very complex, highly-regulated, ever-changing world of retirement benefit plans. There is an additional challenge of being associated with an industry that has undergone tremendous consolidation in the past two decades. But the pleasure has come from meeting those challenges, thanks to a dedicated, committed, professional staff and an involved, thoughtful and engaged Board of Trustees.
